Summer in Scotland 🏴
It’s bleak and wet the sun has gone
Faces all in frowns
The weddings planned for summer
The soaking bridal gowns
One day we all out basking in the glory of the sun
The next we choose to stay indoors another downpour just begun
The school kids nearing end of term
Sports days and fun filled trips
Is the weather fair or foul
Is it a day for shorts and summer slips
Bonnie Scotland so unpredictable
Keeps us on our toes
The sun, it comes, we are overjoyed
Then just as soon it goes
