We Can Be Both

Some days, I look up and feel like the sky is mirroring me—layered, unsure, holding both calm and storm in one breath.Cloud watching doesn’t fix anything, but it reminds me that contradiction can still be beautiful. Here’s what the sky gave me today:

Head in the Clouds
Caught in the moment, head in the clouds—layers of feeling, quiet and loud.
Calming yet stormy,in flow, in motion, watched from abovewhen he takes the notion.
A nudge to notice,to meet the day—the way I watchclouds drift away.
Layered and restless, never perfected—storm in my heart, still… I feel protected.

I used to think I had to choose one version of myself to show the world: the strong one, the peaceful one, the cheerful one. But the truth is, I’m layered. So are you. And that’s not a flaw—it’s sky-deep humanity.
Thanks for reading. If you’ve ever seen yourself in the clouds too, I’d love to hear what they’ve said to you.
